Several weeks ago a reader left a comment inquiring about nuru massage in Pattaya. I answered that there was surprisingly little on offer in this regard considering Pattaya’s reputation. As it happened I discovered a new place called Nuru Massage Pattaya not long after. As far as I know this is the first dedicated nuru massage parlor in the city.

Of course there has been a nuru massage service offered by some of the women at the Devil’s Den for years now. But that is not a dedicated nuru massage shop. And outside of these two facilities there really are few to no other venues offering the service. Compare that to Bangkok where there are several shop specializing in nuru massage such as Doki Doki and Mitu massage.

Location and layout

Many tourists in Pattaya focus on the Beach Road and Walking Street. There is no doubt that these are the most popular parts of the city. But they can also be some of the most lacking in terms of value and service. Make of that what you will.

Nuru Massage Pattaya is located on Soi Lengkee almost directly across from the previously reviewed Bar La Poste. It is very easy to spot thanks to a large clear black and pink sign that somehow manages to stand out even in the menagerie of advertising that the street.

The shop has an open front with clear windows like a hair salon. The available staff can often be found sitting either in front of the store or directly inside. In the lobby there is a front desk where the manager sits along with a laminated price sheet.

Up several flights of stairs that can be a real climb there are private rooms where the service takes place. They aren’t purpose designed like rooms in Bangkok nuru shops but they are fit for the task. Each room is fairly large with a big bed covered with a plastic protector under the sheets. There are also big bathrooms in each room with a large shower area. Everything is kept quite tidy too.

The women on staff

There are around a half dozen women working at Nuru Massage Pattaya most times. The numbers can be slightly lower early in the day. But by nightfall the whole crew is usually available for service. Of course these kinds of things can change from one day to the next. That is just the nature of the business.

The women working at Nuru Pattaya are fairly fit and attractive all considered. More than a few men have commented on a perceived decline in the looks of service providers in Pattaya in recent years. I can’t necessarily disagree with them. But there are still attractive ladies to be found in town. For many that would probably include at least some of the gals at the shop under review here.

At least one of the ladies at the shop has never given birth and thus retains a firm fit body with a pert bubble butt. Then there is the popular Nok with her naughty smile and big silicone boobs. The others aren’t bad either. Who ever is in charge of staffing seems to have some physical requirements.

At the very least there are no overweight women working at Nuru Massage Pattaya which is something in and of itself. Some of the women working in other massage parlors in town nowadays look as if they could make the scale sing. When they work with their hands that may not matter much. But surely it must have an effect on those who provide sexual services for money.

Sexual services and prices

The services at Nuru Massage Pattaya are about what you would expect. That is assuming you expect a nuru body to body massage like you see in Japanese porn videos but lacking full service. As a general rule the ladies at Nuru Massage Pattaya say they do not offer intercourse as a part of their routine. They are liberal with the use of their hands and mouths however. So they do provide their male, female and couple customers with happy endings. They just don’t do full sex.

Prices are somewhat standard. There are various types of sessions available along with different appointment lengths. Prices go up and down according to duration. But to give you a general idea of what things cost, a 70 minute nuru massage goes for 2000 Baht ($62 USD). A 60 minute “double nuru” session done by two women is 2800 Baht ($88 USD). There is no expectation of tipping so the prices are all inclusive.

Conclusion

Nuru Massage Pattaya is an offshoot of another nuru massage parlor in Phuket. The original shop on the island remains open. So the Pattaya shop is a spin off of that. It says something when a place earns enough money and recognition to open new locations. In some ways it is reminiscent of the chain of Lolita’s blowjob bars that once stretched across swaths of Thailand.

Nuru Massage Pattaya is a nice clean place that does what it promises. The facilities are in good shape and they even use authentic nuru gel from Japan which actually does effect service. The prices are reasonable and the ladies know what they are doing. So there is little to complain about.

Some might hope for full service at a place like this. But frankly there are enough full service facilities in Pattaya to last several lifetimes. So the only thing a person in need of actual intercourse would need to do is move on a few steps down the road. Nuru Massage Pattaya offers a unique service that is difficult to find anywhere else in town.

Quynh Anh is one of many hot toc goi dau in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1. These sorts of venues are quite common in the city. They have been described in some detail on this website over the years. Yet the majority of shops of this type have not yet been mentioned here.

There are many adult oriented businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam. They can be found all over. Yet they do not advertise in English. In many cases they do not advertise at all. This leads to a surreal situation in which western visitors looking for sex complain that it is difficult to find in Vietnam while some Vietnamese authorities simultaneously bemoan the widespread availability of commercial sex.

Location and layout

Quynh Anh is located at 111b Nguyen Phi Khanh. It is immediately next to the previously reviewed Tuan Anh. The place shares the name of a Belgian-Vietnamese singer but most people probably call it by its address. This is common in Ho Chi Minh City.

Nguyen Phi Khanh has been well known as a center of hot toc shops for years. There are several located along the short street. In recent times the strip has become more popular with foreigners. Locals still make up the main customer base. But its not uncommon to spot Western men walking up or down the street.

Quynh Anh has a green exterior with a sign and some neon lighting. The actual entrance is recessed and well back from the street. That leaves space in front for customers to park their motorbikes. It also provides a place for a tout slash security guard to sit. But at Quynh Anh that is not so common.

Immediately beyond the entrance there is a small lobby. Beyond that there is another room. The women on staff wait around in both places. Upstairs there are several rooms of varying sizes. Some are small and others are quite large. They are separated by frosted glass walls that do not go all the way up to the ceiling. So sounds can easily pass from one area to the next. The walls are decorated with wall paper but the individual quarters do not have sinks.

At most times there are six or seven women working at Quynh Anh. They are all Vietnamese. The ladies range in age from early twenties to perhaps early thirties. Service and price

All of the women provide the standard service rendered in these kinds of venues. That means they guide customers to the massage tables in the private areas. They then help customers pull down their pants. After washing their hands and the intimate bits of customers they preform oral. Often times this is done with real gusto and skill. It seems to vary between service providers and situations.

The house fee at Quynh Anh is 150,000 Dong ($6.50 USD). Customers are expected to tip their service providers on top of that. There are no actual rules but regulars to these kinds of places normally double the ticket cost. That means that they generally pay 300,000 VND ($13 USD) total for a session at Quynh Anh.

Some foreigners ask the price or pay up front as they walk in the door. This often leads to them paying more than the average rate. They might spend as much as 400,000 or 500,000 VND total before service is rendered. Those in the know including all locals and clued up foreigners pay on their way out the door.

Conclusion

Quynh Anh is one of many shops of its kind located on Nguyen Phi Khanh. There are so many shops on the short street that they can all blend in with each other for the casual observer. As reports on this website show they do have their own individual characteristics.

In particular Quynh Anh has a somewhat different layout than many shops of the kind. It also staffs a wide variety of women who range from the thin and fit to the cute and curvy. There are also others in between. There is no uniform but the women all do put on form fitting dresses. Service is rendered with commitment to the customer in nearly all cases.

Thien Huong is another one of the many hot toc goi dau in Ho Chi Minh City. There is nothing distinct about the shop that helps it stand out from the numerous competing businesses in the immediate area. Still the place does seem to do brisk enough business to stay in operation. The market is clearly not over-saturated.

While foreigners are perhaps most familiar with places like Benny’s and the recently reviewed Quynh Anh there are shops of this sort all over the city. Indeed this local incarnation of the blowjob bar can actually be found all over the country. It just happens to be more common in some areas than others.

Location and layout

Thien Huong is located on Nguyen Phi Khanh street in Ho Chi Minh’s District 1. The short street has become known as a sort of “blow row” as it is filled with numerous hot toc goi dau shops. A total of eleven such businesses have now been reviewed on this website. As far as I know this covers the entirety of men’s hot tocs on the strip.

Each business on the street has at least one sign out front. Usually there are several signs posted along with flashing neon lights. On top of that a tout will often be posted out front calling on passing guys to come in. This can make shops easy to find. It can also help them all to blend in.

Thien Huong has a clear sign featuring the name and street address of the shop. It also has signage with various other words and phrases posted in the Vietnamese language. This sort of thing can be confusing for some. That may be one reason so many people simply refer to this place and others like it by the street number. So someone might talk about “90 NPK” rather than saying “Thien Huong” specifically.

Inside Thien Huong is rather nondescript. It has old green tiles on the walls and the standard staircase leading upstairs to a service area. There semi-private booths are separated only by some thin walls that do not connect to the ceiling or the floor. So sound can flow easily from one booth to the next. Each booth does have its own hair washing sink which is common but not found in every single hot toc.

Staff and service

At any given time there are between six and ten women working at Thien Huong. That includes the large and rather boisterous female manager who seems to have run of the place. The working women themselves would probably be described as average by many. Still other men may find at least one or two of the ladies working at the shop to be gems or real beauties.

The gals on staff wear matching form fitting dresses. This is common at hair salons across the city. Some places have actual uniforms while others simply require the women working to put on tight dresses. At Thien Huong the staff is color coordinated. This means customers might visit one day to see all of the ladies wearing red.

Conclusion

Thien Huong is one of the many shops of its kind on Nguyen Phi Khanh street. With so many similar businesses operating more or less next to each other it takes a lot for one to stand out from another. Thien Huong basically blends in with the background.

It seems likely that a significant amount of customers simply chose Thien Huong randomly from the numerous options on the street. The place doesn’t really have any special features or staff that would draw in specific or repeat customers from what I can tell. Then again people have various tastes and one man’s hovel is another man’s castle.

Kink is one of the many go go bars in Pattaya. It sets itself apart from much of the competition by featuring fully nude dancers. At the same time these dancers are not obvious to all who walk in off the street. So some customers probably have no idea they are even present.

Bars tend to come and go with regularity. There are places that have been around for years. There are also bars that show up on the scene only to disappear soon after. I can’t report on every go go bar that opens in Thailand. But Kink is notable in some ways.

Location and layout

As mentioned Kink is located on LK Metro. The place is very easy to find. It has a large black entrance with big white letters that spell out the name of the bar. LK Metro never gets as crowded or hectic as Walking Street. So most places are easy to spot simply by looking around.

Kink took over the spot that formerly housed the Gold go go bar. After entering the bar customers find themselves in a rather large space. This is to be expected to some degree. Generally speaking the go go bars on LK Metro tend to be bigger and roomier than those down on Walking Street.

There is a large stage in the middle of the floor that takes up a lot of the available space. There are also spacious and comfortable booths around the walls. They are a little better than the seats in a lot of other bars. Some investment was clearly made here.

The main draw for many is not obvious to immediate view. That is the upstairs stage and play area. It is reached by a staircase in the front left corner. The staircase is not marked but it is open for customers to traverse.

While the dancers on the ground floor wear bikinis the gals upstairs are fully nude. There is a large play pen type of area in the middle of the floor. There are also all sorts of semi-private spaces around the walls. A lot goes on and the place sort of resembles a less busy version of the previously reviewed Windmill.

Staff and prices

It’s fitting that the upstairs area of Kink resembles Windmill in some ways. That’s because several of the women on staff at Kink used to work at Windmill. A few dancers and at least one waitress have made the move.

The other dancers follow a similar pattern of behavior. The women start out either in the buff or wearing only short skirts and tops that are barely there. Customers who sit around the play area or kick back and buy lady drinks are treated to a lot of opportunity to interact with the dancers. It is not out of the norm to see quite a lot of adult activity going on.

Downstairs things are a lot more tame. There the place just looks like the standard go go bar. It could even be described as a demure place with a lounge type atmosphere. The differences are almost night and day.

A range of looks is represented in the bar. The dancers are all Thai. Some are in their early twenties. More are probably in their late twenties with a few being even older than that. Most would probably be described as average by a lot of guys. Ultimately beauty is in the eye of the beholder however. Some may think the place is filled with stunners.

Surprisingly prices can surpass those on Walking Street. Drinks are 10 baht more expensive upstairs than downstairs. So upstairs lady drinks cost a bit more at Kink than they do at the above mentioned Windmill. The barfine is 1500 Baht ($46 USD) before midnight and 2000 Baht ($30 USD) after that. This compares to a 1000 Baht short time and a 1500 Baht long time barfine at Windmill.

Conclusion

Kink is a large new go go bar in Pattaya. It is clear that considerable effort and investment was put into getting the place going. There are many dancers inside including several upstairs who seem quite happy to dance in their birthday suits and get very hands on with customers.

The downstairs area of Kink is much like any other average go go bar. The upstairs is reminiscence of Windmill but with less ladies and higher prices. Still the place has already become quite popular. It looks like it will succeed.

Cambodian hostess bars are mostly limited to the capital city of Phnom Penh with a few exceptions. I have written about these bars in the past though new bars are appearing all the time even as old standbys disappear from the scene.

In between covering venues such as the aforementioned hostess bars I have also published dozens of interviews with people in the sex industry over the years. As of yet I have no interviewed any of the many women in Cambodia. I rectify that now with this interview of a Phnom Penh hostess bar worker. I trust that you will find it entertaining at the very least.

This interview does not appear in my four part “Sex Talk” book series of interviews with people in the sex industry but many others do.

How old are you and where are you from?

I am 22. I am from Kampot Province.

How long have you been in Phnom Penh?

I used to go to school here. I lived with my auntie. Then I went back to the province. I came back here two years ago.

Did you come alone?

I came with my young sister.

Were you scared to move to Phnom Penh at that age?

No. I am not scared. I told my sister not to be scared too. But now she is too brave.

So you came to Phnom Penh to work in the bars?

No! I came here to work. And I don’t want to stay with my mom any more. She fights with me too much. She doesn’t fight my sister or my brother. She only fights me.

How did you end up working in a bar?

I worked at a restaurant with my sister. But the boss was crazy. She always yelled to the staff. We all hated her. Her husband was no good also. He had sex with many of the girls. He called me to his office many times but I never went. I asked one guy who worked with me to go. He understood me and he always went for me.

So you didn’t stay there long?

I worked there about three months.

Then you went to work in the bars?

My sister wanted to find another job. We walked around. I saw that one bar had a sign outside looking for staff. So we went inside. We met the manager. She asked me if I knew anything about bars. I told her I didn’t know anything. She said we sell alcohol to the customers. She told me and my sister to come the next day to work.

Did you go back?

Yes. We went the next day. But we didn’t know anything. We wore t shirts and we didn’t have any makeup. Haha. I think we looked so bad.

Did you like it?

No. We worked one day. We didn’t get any money. So I didn’t go back. But the manager called me and told me to please come back. So I went back. But my sister never went back. She works in another restaurant now.

Do you like it now?

It’s okay.

How much money can you make?

I can make about 500 dollars every month.

That’s not bad. How much is your salary?

My salary is $150 every month. I get $1.50 for a lady drink. And I get tips.

So you get a lot of lady drinks?

We have to get about one hundred lady drinks every month. If we don’t get enough they cut the salary. But I always get one hundred.

Do you go out with customers?

Never! Other girls go out with customers. I never sleep with customers. I don’t care. One or two times I went to the casino or a club with some customers and some girls. But I never have sex for money.

But you have sex right? You’re not a virgin?

It’s a bad question. I am not a virgin. I had a boyfriend.

Sorry. How much did you make when you worked in the restaurant?

My salary was 110 dollars every month. But they always cut the money. If you dropped a dish or use more than 5 minutes to eat they cut the salary.

How much do you pay for your room?

My room is fifty dollars. I have to share it with three girls. All together it is one hundred and fifty dollars every month.

What else do you do with your money?

I send money to mom. And I have to go to the market every day to do make up and hair.

How long do you think you will work in this bar?

I want to stop soon. Getting drunk every day isn’t good. It’s not good for my body. I see already.

Babydolls is a long running go go bar in Pattaya that has become a sort of institution. While the place doesn’t seem to be as busy as it used to be it still has legendary status for many agogo aficionado. That’s due mainly to the level of interaction between performers and customers at the club.

Most go go bars in Thailand now feature clothed dancers who work the stage or sit next to customers who buy them drinks. Babydolls is one of the few bars that follows the old school party atmosphere model. The women are typically all over the bar and customers often end up with their hands all over the women.

Location and layout

Babydolls is often described as a Walking Street agogo. While it is only steps away from Walking Street the bar is actually located on Soi 15. That means it can also be accessed from Second Road by those who want to avoid the crowds and spectacle of Walking Street itself.

Babydolls is located just one street over from the previously-reviewed Windmill. That is quite fitting since the bars offer very similar experiences. In many ways both bars are more less the same. The only real differences quantitative. Windmill has more women working, more floors, and usually more customers.

In some ways Babydolls looks like most other go go bars. There is a large stage in the middle of the floor and lots of seating around the sides. The bath and mat areas where the shows take place aren’t totally unique either. But the sort of things that go on there aren’t commonly seen outside of a handful of “hands on” bars.

Babydolls is a large place with plenty of space. Although there are probably more than 50 women in the bar at any given time it never seems to be crowded. The bar gets its fair share of customers too. But it rarely gets to the point when one cannot move or even find a seat. There always seems to be space for more guys to slide into.

Staff, Services and Prices

As stated there are lots of women working at Babydolls most nights. The place isn’t necessarily known for staffing a lot of stunners but there are usually some very attractive women on the bar. There are also lots of ladies who would probably be described as average in looks by many. Finally there are a couple of large and older women working too but even they have their fans. Women from ages 20 and up can be found with the full range of Thai looks represented.

The main draw at Babydolls has always been activity over looks. Topless and bottomless women dance on stage all the time. Other fully nude women perform shows in various areas of the bar and welcome customers seated nearby to get involved. On top of that all the ladies are open for a lot of mutual touching with customers who buy them drinks. Sometimes it goes even further than that.

Although the level of service is arguably higher at Babydolls than most other Pattaya go go bars the prices are about average. Lady drinks are 170 Baht ($5 USD) each. That is pretty standard for go go bars in the area. The barfine is 1000 Baht ($30 USD) which is also fairly average.

Conclusion

There are many go go bars in Pattaya. Some are well known and notable. Others seem to blend into the surroundings. Babydolls is a place that most Pattaya regulars are familiar with and for good reason. It is also the kind of place people put on their “to do” list when visiting the city for the first time.

There has been talk about “cleaning up” Pattaya and making the place “family friendly” in recent years. There are certainly more domesticated tourist groups showing up in the city but a lot of old standbys continue to hold on. That includes bars like Babydolls that operate the same way now that they did ten years ago.

Babydolls has won awards for being the best go go bar in Pattaya more than once. A visit to the place and its enthusiastic staff makes that very easy to understand. As the internet becomes a preferred way for many to meet each other go go bars may become a little less common. Yet there is nothing on the internet that can replicate the atmosphere at a place like Babydolls.

Sabai Dee is one of the oldest adult entertainment facilities in all of Thailand that is still in operation. This soapy massage parlor has been around since at least the 1980’s and it continues to go strong. It seems that it may now be busier than ever possibly because it is so obvious to people visiting the Central Marina Mall across the street and the new Terminal 21 mall a little further up the road.

The fact that Sabai Dee is able to maintain such a large and elaborate building in a key location goes to show what kind of custom it draws in. The place obviously makes a lot of money. This review should help to explain how it does so at least in part.

Location

There are several soapy massage parlors in Pattaya. Many of them have similar names. There is Honey and Honey 2. Honey 2 used to be called Sabai Land. There is also the previously reviewed Sabai Room which is not far from Sabai Dee. It can all get confusing to the uninitiated.

Sabai Dee is located on Second Road across from the Central Marina. It is housed in a large and obvious building that would be very difficult to miss. The building and street around it have several large signs with the name of the shop and “soapy body massage” written in several languages. On top of that the exterior of the building itself is decorated with various brightly colored blocks.

Layout and proceedure

There are men stationed near the entrance and at the door itself to help customers if needed. Inside the door opens to a large lobby. At the far sides of the room there are long sets of bleachers where the massage women sit waiting for customers. In front of them there are several tables. On the walls there are topless pictures of women who look a lot better than the current lineup. They are either models or workers from a bygone era.

Each table has a drink menu and a massage menu. A male manager or waiter usually comes around to take drink orders. There is no obligation for customers to buy a drink. Services

How dirty is Britain? Long gone are the days when human waste flowed openly into the River Thames. While that culminated in a Cholera outbreak in 1853 and “the Great Stink” five years later it is not the topic of discussion here. Lust on Soi 6 is one of the many bars on Pattaya’s infamous Soi 6. Many of the bars on the street can seem to blend together especially as one group now owns several. But there are unique features that do set at least some of the places apart from the others.

Some say Soi 6 is not what it used to be. There is definitely something to that. Outfits and behaviors have been toned down to some degree in recent years as a different sort of tourist has become more common in town. At the same time there have been price increases along the strip. But Soi 6 is still lined with bars filled with women who offer full service to customers without much issue.

Location and layout

Lust is located about halfway down Soi 6 near Lisa Bar. Coming from Second Road and heading toward the beach it is located on the right side. With so many bars and women in a short space things can be a little confusing. In general it seems things are trending up in regards to price. Though Soi 6 prices have not increased nearly as much as those at many Pattaya go go bars.

Most of the women in the bar seem eager to get barfines and go upstairs to the short time rooms for 1000 Baht ($31 USD). The rooms are located just past the mountains of shoes. They are big and clean enough with their own in-suite showers and large beds. They do have a lived in look however. Probably because some of the bar employs sleep in the rooms at night.

Conclusion

Lust is one of the newer bars on Soi 6 in Pattaya. The place always seems to be filled with women and customers. That goes to show that bars can still open up and make it in Pattaya even as the market seems to be greatly over saturated at times.

The main draw at bars of this kind is always the women. The ladies at Lust tend towards the more attractive. Some of them appear a bit shy. But the majority are as experienced as their body decorations would indicate. They are a forward and friendly bunch that seem to leave all of their customers satisfied.

I first published a list of the best Korean porn on the Internet way back in 2015. Four years have passed and frankly not a lot has changed. Alia Club is the newest of the many gentlemen’s clubs in Pattaya. It joins a host of others on a smaller road that has developed into a sort of epicenter for venues of this type. The area is popular with a lot of regulars in Pattaya. Tourists also pass through in some numbers.

A few months ago I asked in a post if there were too many gentlemen’s clubs in Pattaya. The fact that some of these clubs have closed down while others sit empty most days would seem to suggest that there is an overabundance. But the appearance of new clubs like Alia’s suggests that there are those who disagree or are at least optimistic that they prevail.

Location and layout

Alia Club is located on Soi Bong Koch 8 which is often referred to locally as Soi Full Love Inn. The colloquial name of the road comes from the prominent love hotel at the southwest end. This sort of naming convention is quite common in Thailand.

Soi Bong Koch 8 has developed a sort of “blow row” that now contains 7 gentlemen’s clubs including the previously reviewed Pirates, 007, Club Sin, J Club, Club 4, and Carre Blanc. Some of the clubs are often busy. But there are times when the whole area is very quiet.

Alia Club takes up the space of one of the shop houses in the strip that somehow went on without housing a bar for years. Although the buildings all appear to be uniform the interior of Alia Club seems a little smaller than some other nearby clubs for some reason. The layout is a sort of plain blue with rock accents though this probably matters very little to customers.

There is a long bar on side of the room with plenty of seats. On the other side there are several tall tables and chairs. Drink prices are reasonable and on par with other bars nearby. The place looks a lot like any number of other bars. One thing that does set it apart is that smoking inside is permitted and quite common.

Staff and services

It is always difficult to write a summary of the staff in these kinds of bars. One reason is that the staff can change from one day to the next. Another factor is that people have different standards of beauty and appreciation for service. So one man’s dump can be another man’s castle.

In the case of Alia Club there just isn’t much to write about at all when it comes to ladies. That’s because there are as little as two ladies in the bar at any given time. And that includes the woman behind the bar who is nice enough but not available for service. The one woman in the bar is not bad looking to be sure. But she is only joined by one other who very much appears to be a ladyboy.

Of course things could change at any time. As stated many times here staff can totally change over quickly. It happens quite often in the “girlie bar” industry. I still remember the first time I saw a western woman walk into Pirates with her male companion. She got a lot of attention at the bar then went upstairs with two of the ladies. She wasn’t the last woman I saw in the club either.

Veteran provider Cake at Pirates is known for loving ladies and offering amazing service. It is no coincidence that she was formerly employed at the previously mentioned Devil’s Den. But she is not the only gal on premises who works with women.

Nor is Pirates the only gentlemen’s club that accepts female customers and couples. They are also welcomed at places like Bar Le Poste and the Telephone Bar among others.

Prices for couples are usually nut much higher than those for single punters. So a couple that takes two ladies into a private room for fun usually ends up paying around 3500 Baht ($110 USD) for a session all together. That doesn’t include whatever drinks they consume. But those rarely cost much more.

Soapy massage parlors

Most if not all soapy massage parlors in Pattaya have no issue offering service to single women and couples. Some soapies may see it more often than others. The large and long established Sabai Dee goes as far as to list “Honeymoon Massage” for couples as a service on its regular menu. This service is even illustrated with cartoon pictures of male and female figures to demonstrate exactly what it entails.

A honeymoon massage provided by two standard providers at Sabai Dee is 4000 Baht. Other soapy massage parlors follow a similar pricing scheme. This includes full body bathing and a soapy body to body massage on an inflatable silver mat. From there couple can decide if they want to play with each other with assistance from the service providers or go as far as having all four people in the room fully engaged with each other.

Nuru massage

While a few places offer the service there is only one dedicated nuru massage parlor in Pattaya. That is the very aptly named Nuru Massage Pattaya. This shop warmly receives both female customers and couples.

Nuru massage for single customers and couples is available from some of the women at the Devil’s Den. But the gals at Nuru Massage Pattaya specialize in the art. Couple’s service costs 4000 Baht. It includes serviced showering, full body to body nude nuru massage, hand massage and oral service. It does not include full intercourse but couples are free to engage with each other.

That concludes this list. But this list is certainly not all inclusive. There are many others in Thailand’s city of sin who work with women. And some of them even seem to prefer it. Each VIP room contains everything you would expect. There is a large bath tub, a steam room, a full sink, a lounge chair and a sturdy massage table. It’s all clean and well maintained too. The place isn’t the Taj Mahal. But it is kept in good shape.

Today I present an interview with the guy behind Covert Japan. The relatively new website features numerous videos of the interviewee having sex with various Japanese women. In 2018 I did not publish a single such interview. Yet I have already done several this year. A few more interview will appear here soon. All should be of interest to readers of Rockit Reports. Do you remember the first time you saw porn? What was that experience like?

I was probably around 10 years old at the time, and I discovered my dad’s porn stash in the garage. He had some good stuff–several Penthouse mags and some VHS tapes. The tapes were my first time watching hardcore porn. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, but everything in my DNA said it was awesome.

How about Japanese porn? When did you see it for the first time? What did you think?

Before the Internet age, I used to dial into bulletin board services on a modem. One service had an adult pictures section, and the “Asian” category was at the top. There were all these softcore pics of cute Japanese girls dressed in school girl and maid outfits. It was love at first sight.

How and when did you decide to make porn yourself? What made you decide on working exclusively with Japanese women.

It was the very end of 2015, and I was watching Japanese porn online one night. Zenra was and continues to be the preeminent source for authorized subtitled Japanese AV on the internet.

The owner of Zenra is a very affable man. I have been in somewhat regular communication with the gentleman for years. It only seems right to share some of his insight with the audience here. This long overdue interview is detailed and filled with information that will interest anyone interested in Japanese AV and the way it is viewed and consumed around the world. I trust that you will enjoy it.

What exactly does “Zenra” mean?

The Kanji for our site name (全裸) means stark naked.

What was your first experience with porn? How about Japanese AV?

That’d have to be back in elementary school watching Playboy TV when sleeping over a friend’s house whose dad had one of those descrambler boxes. This was way back in the early 90’s when projection televisions were still a thing; the ones that had the RBG lights at the bottom.Soon enough the internet came along and the rest was history. Specifically for JAV, I’ve always had an interest in Japan since high school so changing my habits from western to Asian wasn’t too big of a stretch. I don’t recall my first instance of encountering JAV though I do remember the scanner community from back in the day (Bluebird, Bonvarg, PureJapan, etc.).

How do you think Japanese porn compares to the western equivalent?

For studios, JAV makers are way more conservative and less tech savvy. This applies to the big, established ones of course, but also smaller studios and even one man shops led by guys still in their twenties. Overall quality of content and industry maturation is a no-brainer. Japan has had self-regulation since the 80’s which gives it a lot more freedom compared to the west. But western studios can adapt quickly.

Japan has always had the mosaic issue, but I feel just like how Twitter imposes artificial limits on text limits, mosaic requires makers to think outside of the box. Very little domestic (censored) JAV features extended close-ups of sex. Yes, hardcore titles may have some, but you usually get shots that focus on other aspects of the play instead. You also get truly out there genres including some you’d never be able to sell in the west like (pseudo) incest, scat, (pseudo) rape, and more. Again, self-regulation for the win here.

What about the mosaic and censorship? This is a pretty big deal for a lot of international porn viewers.

Without trying to be a buzzkill, it’s here to stay. I don’t see mosaic being a goner any time soon. One thing most international fans of JAV may not realize is that studios hate it as much as fans–maybe even more. Mosaic costs money to apply (think several hundred dollars USD per title) and getting ‘Ethics approval’ (self-regulation from previous answer) also costs around the same. They don’t want it and Japan’s obscenity law pretty much is the same as USA. It’s just that studios have taken the approach that ‘pixelizing genitalia = not obscene’. Your guess is as good as mine why scat doesn’t require mosaic nor how titles produced some years ago when mosaic was thinner may not past Ethics approval today, but can still be sold at all the big sites and stores.

Uncensored JAV of course exists. There’s 100 percent amateur-produced content, and then there are a few big makers. The latter are all incorporated abroad and have servers hosted outside of Japan. The law with obscenity in Japan basically punishes those who distribute obscene contents so uncensored JAV kind of finds a gray area loophole as it’s still shot there, but it’s not technically sold on Japanese soil.

Nine out of ten times, the quality of uncensored JAV is considerably poorer than censored. You also get less well known women taking part and most content is very vanilla. We show some at ZENRA, but we don’t beat around the bush in reviews and mention its flaws as well. If you want beautifully-shot content with great stories and big names, you rarely will see it in uncensored.

What made you want to bring Japanese porn to western audiences?

It’s my vocation. I truly enjoy working on ZENRA and I’m happy to say there hasn’t been a day in years where I’ve woken up dreading to ‘go to work’. It’s a rush to log on and get started subtitling, checking emails, doing social media, etc. I also take solace that unlike the majority of JAV sites out there, what we do is legal and we actually help studios make money. I can sleep easy knowing I may not be suddenly sued or arrested like quite a few of the ‘free JAV streaming’ site operators out there. There’s something big being planned by JAV’s copyright authority soon and I can’t say anything more on it.

I guess it’s safe to assume that you are fluent in Japanese. It’s not you’re native tongue. How long did it take you to learn the language?

I speak it pretty well. Subtitling, meetings, etc are fine. Watching most TV also is easy. I’ll admit reading a newspaper at times can be challenging. Thus, I don’t consider myself totally fluent, but definitely know more than enough to live and work in a total Japanese environment. Super local dialects, drunk old men at bathhouses, and Yakuza/Yankee talk I have some issues comprehending.

Japan has a reputation for xenophobia. How do studios react when you approach them to license AV?

I believe there are very few outright racists in Japan. Most issues of xenophobia are more about being comfortable doing what one’s doing and not wishing to offend. I’m sure ZENRA was far from the first western company to contact JAV studios for licensing, but was the first to do it correctly.

What most western companies may do is shoot an email–probably in English–to the JAV studio looking for a deal. They probably won’t reply to this because of language issues. Emailing first in proper business-level Japanese is important and if you don’t hear back which for me happened very often at first, you pick up the phone and call. Most studios clearly have their contact info up so finding the number shouldn’t be hard. The phone call shows you’re serious, that you speak the language, and want to really get the deal done. You also need to meet them in person. The majority of initial licensing deals I have made for ZENRA required a face-to-face meeting in Tokyo. Thus, if a western studio wants to add JAV content to their site legally, legwork will be required. There are no content markets here like Amazing Content (great site and owner). If you want content from Studio XYZ, then you need to contact Studio XYZ and gosh forbid if they already have an exclusive deal with a big distributor like DMM because that will just make things even more complicated.

How long did it take to get your website off the ground? How much time do you put into it each week?

ZENRA is a full time job for me. I’ve a team of developers (we’re still hiring!) and now also a team of time-coders and probably will expand further soon. I work 365 days a year though not literally all day and night. A true “off day” may just see me working 2 hours in the morning and a really busy day perhaps would be about 8 hours. However, as the site owner and the one who handles support requests, I always have my phone with me.

What do you think the future of paid porn is, especially on the internet? We’ve been hearing about the “death of the porn industry” for many years yet videos keep coming from various studios.

Paid porn isn’t going anywhere. It’s evolving to some extent. Platforms–something that has been the main source of income for most studios in Japan for decades now–are becoming extremely powerful. As a pay-site owner, I don’t like this trend as having one’s own site with one’s own merchant processing gives the most control and the ability to make the most money per subscriber. I’ve told many a JAV studio they should focus more on selling on their own such while only putting older (ie., over 3 months) content on the big sites. If you think the cut sites like ManyVids takes is bad (20 percent-ish, right?), come to Japan where DMM, the biggest of the big, takes around 70 percent!. Even brick-and-mortar sales may only net a JAV studio around 50% of the cover price. It’s not an ideal situation. Studios are caught between a rock and a hard place with ludicrously high kick-backs on one side and blatant piracy on the other. Yes, the average new JAV release costs almost $30USD on average, but the studio may make only a fraction of that.

What do you think about the emergence of so much amateur porn and small independent studios?

If we’re talking JAV here, I think this is a good thing. Sites like FC2 and HeyDouga are seeing more and more real amateurs in Japan submit their (uncensored) content. There’s the legal issue with no mosaic of course, but this really is the proper way to see disruption take place. I want these sites and these amateurs to succeed. I want big studios to worry because at the very least, you may see this as a reason for mosaic to start thinning out again.

Mosaic got thick in late 2016 due to Ethics companies complaining about downsizing FHD movies to make it look like they’re almost uncensored. My only issue with the true amateurs is the content for the most part is not shot well and is super basic. Stories, scenes, production crews, and big casts are absent making for very bare-bones affairs.

Who do you think is the most popular Japanese AV star ever?

Hard to say so I’m not going to answer. This may surprise some people given my occupation, but I’ve always cared more for what the movie is about rather than who is in it. ZENRA subscribers have always been more interested in titles that feature nothing but older hotel massage therapists having secret sex rather than ‘vanilla hardcore title starring super popular JAV star’. This is what we cater to and what I like as well.

Who is your favorite Japanese porn star of all time?

I indirectly answered that above, but I will say Saya Takazawa is one of the most under-rated actresses of all time. As of this interview, it looks like her retirement was short-lived as she’s appearing in a JAV going up in June. She mainly does super alternative titles (lots of scat and no, I’m not into it, but I’m not going to judge those who are), but has absolutely incredible proportions. Saya has done many movies, but only has had sex a few times. We have one of hers on ZENRA from early in her career that does feature sex (in an orgy setting, no less).

Do you have any experience with fuzoku? What do you think of the Japanese sex industry?

Some people may disagree with this, but I believe Japan has the most progressive sex industry in the world. Yes, paying for penis-in-vagina sex is illegal BUT THAT IS IT. Yes, paying for sex in many parts of the world is easy, but it’s still illegal and there’s always the risk of surprise crackdowns. Most adult services like healths, erotic massage clinics, newhalf brothels, etc., have websites that clearly show prices and what basic service entails. Heck, anal sex is an option many offer right on their pages. Imagine calling up your favorite brothel, requesting a girl and a time and then asking to add the ‘anal sex option’ on top. Robotic? Sure, but it’s totally legal. Brothels even register with the police as adult establishments so it’s all sanctioned. Few places outside of Japan have systems like this (Australia, Germany, Netherlands…any others?).

Sure, and I hate to talk about it, but you can’t talk about JAV without mentioning piracy. There is literally only one site I know of that is legally streaming full length movies for free without any registration (and no, we’re not plugging ourselves here because it isn’t us!): SOD Prime. And it’s mainly movies from the 90’s. All those ‘free JAV streaming’ sites are 100 percent stolen, run by crooked individuals who are financially destroying the JAV studios that they claim to love. Sadly, there are also pay-sites like ours that straight up steal as well. If you wish to support your favorite studios, I’d recommend you only purchase digital JAV from sites listed here.

Barra Ejecutiva is a strip club Medellin that sort of doubles as a brothel. That’s because the dancers on stage are also happy to leave the bar with most customers. As long as said customers have sufficient money and are willing to part with it of course. It’s like Lefty Frizzell used to sing: “If you’ve got the money, honey, I’ve got the time.”

Prostitution in Colombia is legal. I am not a legal expert. Nor have I studied the laws of Colombia. But I do know that this is the case. Some argue that regulations restrict sex work to a few “tolerance zones.” If that is indeed the case it is difficult to tell. Working women can be found all over the city. Strip clubs like the previously reviewed Fase II even have short time rooms next door where dancers routinely take their customers for sex.

Barra Ejecutiva isn’t as large and expensive as Fase II. But it isn’t as small and let’s say “economical” as Conejita’s either. The place is decidedly mid-range. In fact, it looks a lot like many strip clubs in the Middle America. The main difference is that that sex is sold openly in Barra Ejecutiva.

Location and layout

Barra Ejecutiva is located on Cale 53. There are a lot of parks in the area. In the daylight hours they offer a nice respite. As night falls and the bar opens they are not nearly as inviting. The area contains a mix of residences and businesses. But there are some adult entertainment facilities around too. They include a place called New Life which is a sort of upscale version of the local casas.

The bar technically opens at 6 PM. But it doesn’t really get going until a little later. Sometimes it never seems to get off the ground at all. The business model doesn’t require a loud party like atmosphere however. If guys are coming in, buying drinks, and leaving with women, then they are most likely making money. Why else would they be around?

The guys in front sometimes check patrons on the way in. Presumably the door staff are looking for weapons. Yet they let some people right in without as much as a second glance. That includes obvious foreigners as well as some locals.

There is a large elevated stage in the middle of the bar. The rest of the room is sparsely filled with tables and chairs. Waiters come around and take orders. And they are quick to come around again to take more. A beer costs 4000 Pesos ($1.22 USD). For whatever reason a bottle of water costs more.

The big stage doesn’t get much use. There are usually less than a dozen dancers in the bar. And none of them seem all that keen to get up and dance. That is understandable. There is no real tipping culture at the strip clubs in Colombia. It definitely happens. And ladies can even walk around to solicit tips. But local guys don’t seem to “make it rain” in the way their counterparts in the United Stats are apt to do. Instead they give money to dancers in exchange for sex.

The women at Barra Ejecutiva are for the most part attractive. There may not be any supermodels walking around. But there aren’t any overweight trolls scowling around either. Dancers range in age from twenty to over thirty. A few have clearly given birth. Others have very fit bodies. No one speaks much English. The older women are most able to muster a few phrases. They’re also the most likely to approach foreigners.

The ladies are in the bar to make money. They will take drinks offered to them. But they clearly prefer to make a lump sum by leaving the bar entirely. The dancers could accurately be described as “action oriented” even if they aren’t always up on stage dancing.

Conclusion

Barra Ejecutiva has a barfine in place, even though they don’t call it that. There is a release fee of 50,000 Pesos ($15 USD) to leave with any of the women on staff. The gals themselves usually want another 50,000 for 30 minutes of their time. They ask more money for more time. But prices are negotiable.

The women provide services dutifully outside of the bar and deliver what they promise. That typically means they give a blowjob followed by sex in multiple positions. Some men complain that the ladies are too mechanical in bed. Others say they provide an energetic session for a low price. Like anything else, it depends on the situation.

Barra Ejecutiva isn’t anything extraordinary. It is a middle of the road strip club in Medellin with a few eager dancers on staff. But everything is delivered as promised. And the prices are reasonable on both a local and international scale. I give it three stars.
