Google maps has once again proven its worth by providing this full frontal image of the Ace entrance.

Ace is a foreigner-friendly anma in the Gangnam section of Seoul. Anma is a version of anmo which is a Chinese word for massage. In Japan it typically means just that. When affixed to a building in South Korea however anma typically means that more than massages are available though that is certainly not always the case. The Korean alphabet is fairly simple and the letters that spell out “anma” are not difficult to recognize at all. This could lead many foreigners to the doors of such facilities though in many cases they would be refused.

Ace anma warmly accepts foreigners and has for some time. If some people from other countries start showing up and acting rudely that could change as stereotypes are easy to form but tough to break.

Ace is located just outside of the Gangnam-gu Office train station. It is so close in fact that it is visible from exit 3 of the station. This is especially true at night when the signs that say anma in Korean and massage in English are illuminated.

Customers enter through a door in the parking area adjacent to the street. There is usually a red carpet laid out leading to the door but it is fairly obvious even when the rug is missing. Just inside the door a male security guard greets customers and asks them to take off their shoes and slip into a pair of small leather slippers.

Customers are then led to the front desk just inside where female staff members collect the house fee of 230,000 Won ($193 USD). To make things clear for foreigners the women display the price on a calculator. After the money is collected customers are led by another male attendant into a waiting room that looks something like a Korean guy’s bedroom. There is a flat screen television on the wall, some drinks and some bedding and pillows to sit or lay on. Slippers must be taken off before entering the waiting room.

Customers are told how long they will have to wait. Typically it is no longer than a few minutes though on busy nights it could of course be much longer.

After waiting the required amount of time male attendants lead customers to what has to be the smallest lift in the world. It can fit two adults but it is snug. This is used to transport customers to one of several upper levels where they are led into numbered rooms that look like college dorms in the United States.

Male attendants knock on doors to make sure that the service providers are empty before entering. Whichever woman is available comes out and welcomes the next customer inside. Things are done so that customers usually don’t cross each other while inside which is probably why Korean massage parlors in the US are run in a similar fashion.

Inside the rooms customers find a bed, a dresser with cosmetics and a large mirror, mirrored walls and ceilings and a wash room with a table shower and sink.

Although women who work in Korean anmas have what is undoubtedly a tough job they typically provide the high level of customer service that much of Asia is known for. Once in the room customers usually have their jackets taken by the service attendant. They are then offered a cigarette and a drink. After a little small talk they are undressed and asked to rest while the table shower is prepared.

Next they are asked to brush their teeth in the sink which is to be expected though it is a little odd that the sink drains directly next to the feet of the person using it so that one could end up with a set of minty fresh toes if not careful.

Once their mouths are cleaned up customers are led to the table shower where they are fully washed on both sides with an antibacterial soap. This is followed by a nude body to body nuru style slide and kissing all over the body including the most intimate of areas. This can go on for quite a while. Up to three sets of full body slurping, sucking and rimming is even possible with some providers.

After being rinsed off customers are dried off and then led back to the bed where they again rest while the service provider cleans herself and the shower room. When the service provider finishes with that maintenance she returns to the bed area. There she gets on her knees and provides oral with antiseptic in her mouth. This is followed by covered full service which is typically available in all standard positions.

A phone in the room rings once when time is almost up. Because so much effort is given to preparation there often isn’t much time for the full service though I would imagine that most customers finish in the time provided.

When the phone rings a second time the session is approaching its end. Customers are then led back to the wash room where they are given a standing shower. They are then helped to dress. The provider then picks up the phone and calls the management who send a male attendant. These attendants lead customers down the stairs and into the lobby where they are bid farewell by the entire front staff before changing back into their street shoes and heading out the door.

The level of service provided at Ace is top notch though the women working are for the most part only average in looks when compared with some of the lovely ladies walking around Seoul every day. The facilities are basic but well kept. The fact that the place is totally open to foreigners says something about the management. All considered I give it three-and-a-half stars.

Quezon Avenue is a large thoroughfare in Metro Manila, lined with palm trees on its center island and scattered with girly bars, such as the previously reviewed Pegasus and Classmates, on both sides. Nearly all of these venues include karaoke as part of the package or make it the only activity allowed on premises. KTVs have long been a staple of adult entertainment in Asia, though cultural and language barriers make them less than popular among Western visitors.

This review will deal with a foreigner-friendly KTV on Quezon Avenue and shed some light on a niche that hadn’t been explored until now on the ever-expanding Rockit Reports.

Formerly known as Queen’s Castle, Queen’s Chamber is easy to locate thanks to its large neon sign. It sits right beside Imperial Health Palace and Heartbeat. All visitors must pass through security first, but Westerners are usually given only a light pat down.
The venue is spread over two floors, with the upper one hosting a number of karaoke rooms and the ground floor offering stage shows. Young pinays perform all night long on a large stage placed against the wall on one side of the lounge.

The performances last a few minutes each and they are all rehearsed, hence they are nothing like the bored two-step seen in many go go bars. The girls at Queen’s Chamber can actually dance. Many of them seem to thoroughly enjoy it, judging from the energy they bring on stage and the smiles they dispense around.

While nudity is nowhere to be found, some of the choreographed dances are performed by Filipinas in very revealing clothes such as see-through lingerie. The same girls performing on stage can be taken upstairs for some intimate time, so it makes perfect sense to hang around in the lounge and take a good look at them.

Being one of the most budget-friendly haunts in the area, Queen’s Chamber attracts a relatively young working class clientele. The place gets crowded on the weekend and it’s often lively even on weekdays. Thankfully, finding a seat is never much of problem as the lounge is packed with couches and tables. There is also a long bar with plenty of stools along with some fans to offer respite from the heat.

Guys who prefer to cool themselves down with a drink can pick their favorite refreshment from the menu, which lists all kinds of beverages and a broad selection of food. Prices start at 90 pesos (less than $2 USD) for a bottle of locally brewed San Miguel, and go up from there.

Those who linger at the bar will notice a coming and going of gals. That’s because every now and then a customer will ask for a lineup, and the available girls will strut out of a small room that happens to be mere steps away from the bar, down the same corridor that leads to the restroom.

As for the latter, it comes with a resident male “attendant” who specializes in startling customers by performing an unsolicited massage while they use the urinals. This is actually a common occurrence in Southeast Asia. The polite way to go about it would be to either hand the poor devil a tip or keep him at arm’s length with some well-placed gestures.

The girls are managed by two mamasans who can be seen roaming the floors and attending to the customers. Their attention is up for grab by anyone who should need it, but intercepting them can get tricky on a busy night. Guys who don’t speak Tagalog would do best to talk with Grace, the only one of the two who can speak conversational English. She is easily recognizable by a large beauty mark. Once in her presence they can inquire about the availability of rooms upstairs and ask to be introduced to some girls.

Even though Queen’s Chamber employs dozens of women, only a handful of them are available at any given time. Some regulars fancy booking their favorite girl for up to five hours in a row, thus limiting the selection for those who show up late. A first-time visitor can only sit back while the available girls come shake his hand and introduce themselves, usually with a big smile.

It’s hard to say anything meaningful about their looks since one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, but the girls generally know how to dress and some of their outfits can be quite sexy. One thing they all have in common is that they tend to be young. Most girls are in their early twenties and it’s not rare to come across 18-year-olds.

There is no harm in asking to see a few more girls before making a choice, since the mamasans never call for a full lineup, but rather small groups of three to five girls. Once the customer finds a gal he likes the pair will be escorted to a private room upstairs.

On paper, the only activities allowed inside a KTV room are singing and drinking. The reality is quite different. As time passes and the girl gets more comfortable with his customer, things can move in any direction. The best KTV sessions can outclass a kiss bang in Seoul or an oppai pub in Tokyo in terms of action.

Speaking from my own experience at Queen’s Chamber, guys who hit it off with a gal can look forward to an embarrassing amount of kissing, caressing and groping. On a lucky night a blowjob might be on the cards. My best personal memory is that of a girl squeezing her nipples to spray thin spouts of milk on my face.

The management is aware of such happenings and they don’t seem to have a problem with it. Some guys go as far as asking the mamasan to recommend them a girl who has a reputation for being wild. Short of intercourse, which is forbidden as well as unlikely to happen, anything goes. These rules hold true for every other similar venue in Manila.

The only caveat in the KTV formula is that everything must happen at the discretion of the girl. The customers can’t demand that the girls do anything other then sit with them and keep them company. Being gentlemanly, laying back and going with the flow usually leads to a positive outcome.

The experience is somewhat akin to dating in that it’s fairly unpredictable and comes with as many thrills as disappointments. Punters looking for sex in Manila visit places like massage parlors and go go bars, since KTVs have the opposite function of building up sexual tension. Experienced guys know that there’s a place and a time for everything and they don’t confuse a certain type of venue with another.

KTV rooms are typically rented by the hour and Queen’s Chamber is no exception. A standard room costs 520 pesos per hour ($10.80 USD) and comes with air conditioning, a coffee table, one to three couches and a full karaoke setup. Most rooms have windows that look out onto the lounge area and the stage show.

A few “VIP” rooms are also available for several thousand pesos and in multiple visits I was never able to get one, since apparently they get snatched quickly. I have no idea how they compare and if they are worth the premium price tag. All I can say is that the standard rooms are nice enough and I never found myself wishing for an upgrade.

A fun little detail at Queen’s Chamber is that all the rooms are named after famous royals, so every door comes with a plaque reading “Queen Elizabeth” or “King Henry” and so on, with a Pope or two thrown in for good measure.

The price quoted above is all-inclusive and no additional tip is required for the girl. Any food or drinks ordered while in the room will obviously add to the tab.

The girls are paid a percentage off the final bill and must meet a certain quota of drinks ordered per month, so they are expert at getting customers to order as many items as possible, though unwanted expenses are easy to avoid for guys who can assert themselves and are not in the habit of drinking themselves into a stupor. Another minor annoyance is that some girls are required to perform on stage at certain intervals and they will leave the room for a good 15 minutes before coming back.

Every hour or so, a waiter will knock on the door and poke his head in to ask the customer if he would like to extend his session for another hour. In my experience, a typical session with a pleasant enough girl ends up lasting two or three hours and involves the purchase of several drinks and possibly some food, which totals to 2000-3000 pesos ($40-60 USD) when it’s all said and done. Of course it’s possible to spend a bit less or a lot more.
Whether the expense is worth it depends on one’s habits and expectations. Admittedly, the same amount of money would go much further at a place like Air Force One, or the many other haunts in Manila that provide sexual services. Then again, sometimes a man wishes for a different kind of entertainment. I for one don’t mind shelling a few bucks to have a hot babe sit on my lap for hours, sing for me on demand, and put food in my mouth while I fondle her breasts.

The KTV proposition is made all the more enticing in a country like the Philippines where English is ubiquitous, which makes it possible to have actual conversations with the girls. This brings the flirting component to a level difficult to achieve in other countries.

When the customer feels like he has had enough fun, he can decline the offer to extend the session further and ask for the check instead. Payment is rendered directly to the waiter inside the room.

It’s good practice to tip the waitstaff and the mamasan before leaving. A major perk at Queen’s Chamber compared to other KTVs in the area is that little to no pressure is put on the customer when it comes to tipping, whereas in some places nearby the staff will seemingly go out of their way to be unpleasant about it. This detail alone already makes Queen’s Chamber stand out from the crowd.

As mentioned before, the girls don’t expect to receive tips, though some of them may occasionally try and ask for one. Most of the time they will simply take the guy by hand and lead him back downstairs, where the two will share a hug before parting ways.

Exchanging phone numbers or other contact information is common when a session goes particularly well, though that’s best done while still in the room. Nine times out of ten the number won’t lead to anything solid, but there have been instances of guys successfully meeting a KTV girl outside of her workplace, where of course none of the same rules and restrictions apply.

Queen’s Chamber has been in operation for several years now and has developed something of a cult following. Whether it’s because of the warmth of the girls, the politeness of the staff or the affordable prices, locals keep returning night after night. That the venue is welcoming of foreigners and respectful toward them is just the icing on the cake. It’s an ideal starting point for guys who are new to the KTV scene and have an interest in exploring it.

As a place where men are only supposed to enjoy the company and liveliness of attractive young women, Queen’s Chamber over-delivers on its promises. I give it an above average score of three-and-a-half stars.

I have written in detail about the sale of sex in the “men’s paradise” of Macau. Most of that coverage has been about the relatively pricey saunas which the Special Administrative Region is known for though I have written about the less expensive Darling 1. While Hou Va is located only a short walk from some of the most high end sex saunas in Macau it operates in much different conditions.

Hou Va is located in a small building in the middle of an otherwise nondescript street. While there is a sign on the front of the building with the shop’s name it would be quite easy to miss.

Once inside the door customers are confronted with a small and very cluttered lobby and a small desk. An older Chinese woman runs the place though she is more often floating around the facilities than sitting up front. She does have either a keen ear or a good security system though as she doesn’t leave anyone alone in the lobby for long.

Although she is quite kind to customers the manager can barely speak intelligible English. Thankfully for visitors who don’t speak her brand of Chinese a pen and paper do wonders for communicating prices to anyone capable of reading. There are various sets for service available including threesomes but the most common is a sixty minute session with a single lady for 670 MOP ($84 USD).

Once customers pay for their session they are told to wait while one of the service providers are retrieved. Customers can make requests for certain looks or ethnicities and if they have the communication skills and assertiveness they can even ask for a specific lady on staff. Like their counterparts in the saunas the women wear numbered pins on their shirts. This allows for returning customers to easily request a repeat with a lady they like.

There are around a dozen women working Hou Va at any given time. They hail from Vietnam, China and Malaysia and vary in looks. Most could be described as average though occasionally there are stunners and less physically desirable gals on staff.

Once customers are paired with their services providers they are led through a door marked with a piece of paper and up a flight of stairs to a hallway lined with red light private rooms. They enter one of the rooms and get undressed along with their service provider.

The rooms are just okay. They are fairly large considering the price and area and could be compared to a typical room in a Bangkok oily massage parlor. They too are a little cluttered though it is not garbage but stacks of things like new boxes of tissues that take up space. In this regard they look a little like the facilities at the legal brothels in the Geylang section of Singapore.

Each room has an air conditioner, a heater and a fairly large shower in the corner than provides plenty of reliable hot water. Customers are washed up before and after each session and the providers usually soap themselves up too. This is followed by a move to the bed where the usual services of a place like this are provided.

The beds are nice and solid and the service usually is too. At any place with a variation of women on staff not to mention an ever changing set of customers it is difficult to rate the quality of service. Things can change from one minute to the next and between different people. Generally speaking the women know what they are doing and they tend to provide oral and covered full service. Some do refuse to provide certain services to certain people based on appearance, size or any other reason they’d like though this sort of thing is not terribly common.

After time runs out customers are asked to dress and led back out the door. On the way out they are big a found farewell by the mamasan who offers candy and bottled water.

Although it is not a big shiny sauna staffed with the hottest women from around the world Hou Va delivers an authentic experience to its customers. The women who work there and the manager seem to be fairly upbeat and happy in spite of the fairly dim surroundings and that shows something. All considered I give the place three stars.

Since many readers seem to have an interest I should note that customers from India and other parts of South Asia and the Middle East seem to be warmly welcomed at Hou Va even though many saunas will not accept them.

Although I have covered the commercial sex scene in Thailand in detail most of that coverage has been limited to the popular large cities of Bangkok and Pattaya. Thus far I have not reviewed locations outside of those cities but that will change today.

Bangkok and Pattaya contain so many venues that it would require more volumes than Casanova’s Story of My Life to review them all in full detail. While I will continue to write about the places in those cities on a regular basis I will also incorporate reviews and write ups on other cities in Thailand and around the world.

Absolute Paradise is a makeshift massage parlor tucked away in a lightly used hotel located off the beaten path in Chiang Mai. It’s unlikely that many people would accidentally wander into the massage parlor even though signs are prominently posted in English on the road that leads to the place.

Absolute Paradise is located in room 211 of the Paradise Hotel on Sridonchai Road south of the city’s famous Night Bazaar.

Customers simply walk into the hotel and up the stairs to the room to enter. They don’t need to check in at the hotel’s front desk which is usually deserted in any event. There are some paper signs indicating the way to the massage parlor and marking the door though they don’t really stand out. The room number is the main indicator.

Once customers enter the room they see that is has been changed from a hotel room into a makeshift office. There are small wooden chairs and some signs in English and Thai indicating rules and prices. There is also a water dispenser and a fan installed in an unsuccessful bid to get around the lack of an air conditioner.

A manager who speaks a little English and calls himself a “public relations person” presents himself to customers after they enter. He asks if they have booked an appointment over the phone before arrival. If not he instructs them to wait while he assembles the available women.

Quite a few women work at Absolute though they show up at different times. Some days and evenings there are only one or two women available. At other times there are up to a dozen on hand. The available women walk through a back door one by one to allow customers to see them all. Once the parade is over customers are asked to make a selection.

Nearly all the women working at Absolute Paradise are attractive gals in their very early twenties. Most have light skin and have not had children. They would in general be considered more attractive than most of the women working in Pattaya go go bars by Thai standards though of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Once customers select one of the available women they pay a house fee to the manager. Full body massages lasting eighty minutes are the main course. They range from 1,300 to 1,600 Baht ($37-46 USD) depending on the classification of the lady. There are other courses available including a two woman “sandwich” session that goes for 2,000 Baht ($57 USD).

After house fees are paid customers are assigned one of the numbered rooms in the hotel and told to wait until their masseuse arrives. Masseuses arrive soon after and introduce themselves before the fun begins.

Absolute gets its share of Thai customers. Men from other Asian countries also make up much of the customer base. Western customers aren’t as common which would help explain why most of the women who work at Absolute speak little if any English. That doesn’t necessarily get in the way of the services provided but it is worth noting.

While each woman has their own routine most courses follow the same plan. Customers are undressed and that is followed by the masseuse undressing. Customers are then taken into the shower and thoroughly washed up and down with a copious amount of soap. The masseuses use their hands and their bodies to apply the soap. After rinsing off customers are dried off and instructed to go to the bed and wait.

Soon after the service providers emerge to provide a light dry massage followed by a wet nuru style body-to-body massage that very much resembles the way things are kicked off in sessions with women from the fishbowls in Thai soapy massage parlors. In many cases the women at Paradise are even better at the body slide than the average soapy massage parlor around the country.

These beginning services actually last quite a while. To their credit the women at Absolute clearly put in the work they promise and aren’t out to rip anyone off or short clients for time.

The body massages customers pay for at Paradise only include a hand finish. Most of the women working at Paradise seem to be up for more though they ask for tips for anything above and beyond hand service. The tips requested follow the normal schedule of oily massage parlors in Thailand with full service typically going for an additional 1,000 Baht ($29 USD). Of course whatever deals women work out are between them and their customers and may not be performed with the knowledge or acceptance of the management.

Absolute Paradise is out of the way and set up differently than most other massage parlors. That makes it stand out even in Thailand where massage parlors of all kind are plentiful. It doesn’t necessarily make it any better or worse than other shops however. The management is friendly. Prices are reasonable. The women are attractive. All of that ads up to what is an above average enterprise. It’s not absolutely paradise but I give it three-and-a-half-stars.

Lucky Love Bar on Soi 6 has the widest variety of uniforms in town and they are all sexy.

The seaside Thai city of Pattaya has received a lot of coverage on this website and for good reason. Not only is the city home to more adult entertainment venues than most others around the world is also one of the most known and visited destinations by English speaking people from other countries like the United States, Australia, United Kingdom and Singapore. Since the content on this website is written in English I imagine many people from those countries will find what they see here entertaining.

Rockit Reports is international in scope. While I will keep expanding the coverage on this website to every corner of the world as time goes on I will also continue to write about places like Pattaya that have already reported on in some detail.

I first published a summary of the sex shops in Pattaya way back in 2012. That was followed by a report on inexpensive sex services in Pattaya in 2013 and an overview of the go go bars in Pattaya in 2014. Today I present the following news and information report which should serve to entertain and also show just how much some things can stay the same while others go through all sorts of transformations.

Area 51 is a big new go go bar that opened on Pattaya Sai Song Soi 13 across from LK Metro sometime last year. It is a big spacious bar with plenty of seating but it doesn’t seem to get very busy even with waitresses and dancers standing outside all night trying to convince guys to enter. There are some attractive dancers on staff. The short shorts and belly shirts they wear reveal that many are also single mothers. The place bills itself as a “lounge” but as far as I can tell this simply means they have a large seating area that opens early in the day before the dancers get on stage.

Zero is another new go go bar that recently opened on Soi Bukhao just around the corner from the agogo laden LK Metro. The place has a good location but since it is outside of the big L where most go go bars are located it seems to get a little less traffic than one might expect. There are around two to three dozen women on staff with most being average in looks but there are some nineteen and twenty year old women working there with the kind of great bodies that used to be common in Thai dancing bars. The design of the bar is probably its best feature with two sets of seats directly to the sides of the stage given customers a great view no matter where they sit. Bar fines cost 800 Baht and drink prices are normal for the area.

Silver Star 1 and Silver Star 2 continue to operate as they always have with topless dancers entertaining a never ending stream of punters. This old Pattaya style continues to live on in some parts of the city despite or perhaps because of things like the male attendant giving shoulder rubs in the bathroom at Silver Star 2 and the wafting sewage smell at Silver Star 1.

Shooters on the east end of Soi 7 is nice bar that always seems to be busy. While one reason for that is probably the advertising campaigns they run in the city having a team of the most attractive coyote dancers outside of Walking Street can’t hurt. Even still I imagine that a lot of weathered old hands walk right past the place and down the open air beer bars where they can be sure they will score and shell out a lot less money in the process.

The infamous Soi 6 continues to operate as it has for years with scantily clad women (and some ladyboys) standing in front of dozens of bars trying to pull guys inside. I have reported on many Soi 6 bars but there are dozens that haven’t even been mentioned on this site yet.

The gals at Lisa Bar might not be the most attractive but their outfits are among the most revealing. The regular uniform consist of a fishnet “dress” draped over a bra and thong panties which doesn’t prevent the women who work the bar from running into the middle of the street to grab some food or a potential client.

The uniforms at Lucky Love Bar down the street are more subdued but still quite sexy. The colorful outfits change from one day to the next but never cease to look good on the attractive group of gals that work the place.

Pook Bar remains a popular ladyboy bar and its obvious why. Even though I have never entered the place it is easy enough to see from a passing glance that the place has some of the most ladylike ladyboys in town on staff.

Lately Soi 6 does seem a little more quiet than it has been in the past but since tourism numbers are apparently down across the board in Thailand that isn’t too much of a surprise. Although prices went up a few years back they have stayed steady since. Today drinks go for the same rates they did in 2014 and a short private period in the rooms above almost every bar continue to go for 1300 Baht ($37 USD) all in with some veterans still able to swing it for less in places.

Walking Street is the center of attraction for most visitors even though a lot of locals and regulars now avoid the place in favor of some of the greener pastures mentioned above. Agogos seem to get a later start now than they did in years past with most still setting up as late as eight o’clock at night.

Bar fines rise like the cost of living with increases coming quicker than I can track. More than a few go go bars on Walking Street now want between 1,000 and 2,000 Baht for the privilege of leaving with a lady on staff. A new category of “models” has appeared at some go gos too. The price to leave a bar with a “model” is higher than the barfine for a regular woman on staff though I’m not sure why. As far as I can tell the model designation indicates nothing more than a taller than average gal or a dancer with fake tits.

For their parts the women working Walking Street go go bars generally still ask for the same kind of compensation they did a few years ago though some of the newer more popular gals in their early twenties may ask for as much as 6,000 Baht for a short time session.

Go go bars on the side alleys leading off of Walking Street have the best prices and most active and adventurous women on staff but things have been toned down over the years. Misty’s has dozens of good looking ladies dancing on its many stages throughout the night but adult activity in the bar itself has been cut down to the point of nonexistence. The same goes for the nearby Superbaby agogo where things used to get pretty wild at times.

A sort of blow row has arisen on Soi Full Love Inn with Club 4, 007 and the soon to be reviewed Pirate Club now operating side by side on an otherwise nondescript road.

Another set of bars doubling as suck shops have cropped up on and around Soi Lengkee. A second Telephone Bar joins Lolita’s Pattaya, Le Private and Club Excite to help make another part of town a little more interesting. All of these places will be reviewed on this website in the near future.

Last but not least I’ll mention the historic Pump Station which probably should have a plaque out front honoring its long storied existence. The place looked to be on its last leg when I published a piece on it in 2013 that looked more like an obituary than a review. More recently it was totally redone and now seems to have quite a bit of life. A larger staff probably has more to do with the rediscovered popularity the place seems to be enjoying than a fresh coat of paint but I have no way to know for sure. While there are something like ten women working the night shift now there aren’t any real stunners. I guess that doesn’t matter so much though at a place like the Pump Station. The days of the renown cut outs and curtains under the bar will probably never return but it is something to see the place back on its feet and hoping most nights of the week.

Obviously this doesn’t cover all of the adult entertainment in the city. The entirety of this website still hasn’t come close to achieving that even though I have been writing about Pattaya here for years. This is just a brief update. More will come in the future. Stay tuned.

Inside the club.

Over the last month I have published two guest reviews by regular commentor European Guy. One was an overview of Orgasmo in Romania and the other was written about Queen’s Chamber in Manila. Since both have gone over well I am pleased to present another today. This will be the first entry on this site about Switzerland but it will not be the last.

Club Oceano (formerly known as Bar Oceano) is a fully licensed bordello in Lugano, the largest city in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland.

Prostitution is legal and regulated in Switzerland. Red light districts can be found all over the country, from Zurich to Geneva. Lugano alone is home to several brothels. Oceano was established more than a decade ago and at one point it was the only venue of its kind in the region. It has managed to remain a household name despite growing competition in recent years.

The venue operates on a similar model as the German FKKs: the management rents out rooms directly to the sex workers, who are then free to conduct their business on an independent basis and negotiate their own rates with the customers. As is often the case, the prettiest women tend to command higher prices. The working women and their prospective customers meet in a public lounge on the ground floor, eventually moving into a private bedroom upstairs for a romp in the sack.

The proprietor of Oceano is an elderly gentleman who runs it as a family business, aided by friends and relatives including a niece. According to him, the club brings in gross revenues of over $6 million USD a year, with taxes amounting to about $200,000 USD yearly. Being a legal operation, only women with a regular work or residence permit are allowed to rent. Oceano takes it upon itself to kick out women found in possession of drugs. All this goes to show what entrepreneurs and governments alike can achieve in countries where the sex trade is given due respect, as a business if nothing else.

That Oceano is doing quite well can easily be inferred from the decor in the lounge. The place has recently undergone some renovations and looks about as good as any executive club in Jakarta, although the layout is quite different. Plenty of couches and tables, a well-stocked bar, and a separate smoking area ensure that customers are made to feel comfortable. Close to 500 men find their way through the front door every day. As many as 90 percent of them are Italian nationals, who routinely cross the border to find respite from the sexual wasteland known as Italy.

The first expense customers incur is an entrance fee of 15 CHF/Euros ($17 USD), valid for a free drink, or alternatively 20 CHF/Euros ($22.50 USD) granting two drinks. Swiss Francs and Euros are used interchangeably at Oceano. The venue also accepts US dollars as a currency, along with all major credit cards. As they take a look around and acclimate to the place, new faces are likely to be approached by one or more women. This could be as overwhelming for inexperienced guys as it should be easy to handle for veterans of the game. Harsh as it may sound, common sense suggests to avoid women who appear desperate for business.

Oceano currently houses 62 bedrooms and manages to rent out nearly all of them. With so many women available, ranging widely in looks, experience, and outlook, it’s difficult to provide an average of their asking price. However 100 CHF/Euros ($112.50 USD) for 30 minutes of fun seems to be the standard rate for the better looking ones. Some women may ask a bit less and a select few ask even more. Longer sessions are possible but the price will rise accordingly.

Those rates are not necessarily outrageous when compared to the cost of living in Switzerland. In fact, sex sells at similar or higher prices in other developed European countries, like England and the Netherlands. Returning customers or charming guys with haggling skills could probably get away with a discount. In any event, it’s up to the customer to find a suitable companion and reach an agreement on the compensation.

After the obligatory bit of drinking and chatting, it’s off to the races upstairs. The rooms are nothing to write home about but they are spacious enough and serve their purpose well. They are usually filled with the women’s belongings, hence no two rooms look exactly the same. The standard shower box, towels, and condoms that one would expect are all provided.

The women at Oceano are of different nationalities, the majority hailing from Eastern Europe. Romania accounts for the bulk of them. Some girls claim to be Russian, even though they are just as likely to be from neighboring countries. There used to be many Brazilian girls in the past, but that changed after Switzerland tightened its immigration policies. Nationality carries little weight anyway, as it is the provider’s personality and chemistry with the customer to ultimately spin the session in a direction or another.

Long-time readers of Rockit Reports by now are familiar with the expression “your mileage may vary”. I’m sure they won’t bat an eye if I say that every session at Oceano is different. Deep French kissing and bareback blowjobs are pretty common, but they are not a guarantee. On the other hand, sex is almost always covered. Dining at the Y is certainly an option. Other than this, the specifics will always vary.

Some gals ask to be paid upfront while others leave it for last. A session typically ends with a shower and sometimes with a bit of chatting and cuddling, provided there is enough time left. After that the customer can leave the building, indulge in more drinking downstairs, or choose another woman and go for a second round. Oceano even allows customers to spend the night, sleeping with a woman of choice in her room. Safety in ensured by 24 hours surveillance on premises.

I have never been asked for tips but I would imagine it’s in the realm of possibilities. What I have noticed instead is that most women wish to be paid extras for any additional service aside from vanilla sex. Multiple pops are possible, as is anal sex with some women, but such things have to be negotiated in advance and they often come at a premium. That obviously includes fetishes of any kind.

All in all, Oceano doesn’t break any new ground, but what it does it does well. It’s a good example of a modern European brothel and it approaches the top of the food chain for ambiance, customer care, and quality of the girls. There are a couple other establishments in Lugano that are just as good or even better, but it’s hard to find any glaring fault with the venue under review.

If the women had lower asking prices, or if the prices were all-inclusive, I would have given Oceano a high score and my personal seal of approval. As it stands it still deserves three-and-a-half stars.

Inside the club.

I first reported on the commercial sex scene in Austria back in October of 2015. I haven’t posted anything on the country since only because I have been occupied by writing material on other locations. I have much more to write about the country and especially its capital city of Vienna.

Maxim is one of the best known adult entertainment venues in Vienna. Foreign visitors and locals alike know about it. One reason is its reputation. Another is its visibility which is enhanced by the distribution of leaflets advertising Maxim throughout major parts of the city.

Those leaflets can be misleading. At least one that can be found around town says something like “free admission with this coupon.” That sounds like a great promotion until one realizes that admission is free to anyone who shows up at Maxim with or without a coupon.

This sort of marketing serves in some way to reveal the type of business that Maxim operates. It is not a rip off joint by any means but it is not necessarily an upright service oriented shop either.

Customers find the entrance to Maxim well lit and situated on a main thoroughfare in Vienna. They go through an open set of doors and down a flight of carpeted stairs where they are greeted by a hostess.

The hostess asks customers whether or not they have been to Maxim before. If they have they are shown inside. If they have not they are given a quick tour by the hostess who explains how everything works.

A tour might not be necessary since the place is open and straightforward. Anyone who has been to a Thai go go bar would feel at home though Maxim isn’t nearly as lively. A few women dance in revealing lingerie while others linger around the club and occasionally try to approach customers.

The floor of the club is large enough for the crowd it attracts but not as big as some of the biggest and best strip clubs in other major cities. a small bar sits to the left of the entrance staffed by a large breasted bartender who is more competent than friendly or entertaining.

To the right sits a small stage with a single pole. Around that are a few couches. For some reason another set of couches in the back is elevated higher than the stage so that it becomes the visual focal point of the room. This is clearly a design flaw as most people would think the eye should be drawn to dancers rather than male customers in a strip club.

At any given time there are several European women working at the bar. They range in ages but most seem to be in their late twenties and thirties. As is often the case in Western European venues Romania and Moldova are the most represented countries. Women from places like Hungary and the Czech Republic can also be found. It is always tough to make a judgement on looks when multiple women work in a place but generally speaking the women are a little below to a little better than average in looks even if most show signs of wear from working in night clubs and smoking cigarette incessantly. It is not a likely location to find a flawless nineteen-year-old Eastern European gymnast but stranger things have happened.

Those who dance at Maxim do so with a sort of attitude that differs from what is scene in Asian go go bars or even most American titty bars. They are clearly doing a job. If and when they strip it is well into the show. This isn’t a place where women are walking around with their boobs out around the clock.

Chatting with customers is more of a focus at Maxim. It is easy to see why. Customers who agree to buy champagne for a woman shell out significant money. The rates here make the 350 Baht charged for lady drinks in Bangkok look like chump change.

Women in anything from casual to lounge wear approach customers, ask about their lives and then try to move to another stage. One is to share some drinks and talk or possibly touch more. Another is to head to one of the eight private rooms and have sex.

As mentioned previously on this site prostitution is legal and regulated in Austria and Maxim openly sells it. Prices are set at 120 Euros ($137 USD) for 30 minutes or 200 Euros ($228 USD) for one hour. The action takes place in quarters that are nice enough but nothing to brag about. The same goes for the service in most cases which borders on the mechanical. It is difficult to expect much else considering the circumstances though a higher level is usually given by women who work at similar strip club brothel combinations like Hong Kong in Tijuana. Outcall is also available at a much higher rate of 250 Euro ($285 USD) per hour.

As a decent enough strip club in the heart of Vienna Maxim serves a role. The women aren’t necessarily the hottest and the level of service isn’t all that impressive but it is still an easy place for a guy to go and blow off steam if he can afford it. There are many other options in Vienna and that must be taken into account. If this club was transplanted to New York City it would be a major draw and merit rave reviews. But the sale of sex is ridiculously illegal in New York and Maxim is located near full service sex saunas where blond bombshells walk around naked all day and night. I give it two stars.

Bath time has never been so much fun.

The totally foreigner-friendly delivery health shop Tokyo Style has been a topic of discussion on this website since I first mentioned the company in a post back in early 2014.

In the time since I have done numerous reports on Tokyo Style including reviews of service providers who work there like Sora, Sumire and Yuzu. Obviously I hope to be able to review everyone on staff at Tokyo Style but that would be difficult. The shop adds new women to its roster all the time and there is always an urge to repeat visits with top performers like Sora and the recently returned Sumire.

Today I will be doing a write up on Nao who has been at the shop for some time. As her customers reviews on the Tokyo Style website would indicate she is rather popular. I don’t think she would have stayed on board if she wasn’t.

The term “girlfriend experience” which is often shortened to GFE has been around for a long time. The original meaning had to do with condom use at least as far as I am aware. That seems to have changed at some point and the phrase has now commonly come to mean what it sounds like. That is an experience that resembles time spent with a girlfriend rather than a paid sex workers. The Tokyo Style website says that Nao has a relatively high level of English speaking ability. That does seem to be true though she clearly prefers to speak her native language. No one can blame her for that.

Services with Nao go much as they do with the other women on staff at Tokyo Style. Nao arrives and introduces herself. She then turns on some soft music and asks the customer to select one of several available aromas to release into the room. This is followed by a bathroom session which gets both people clean in creative ways.

Once cleaned up and prepared customers are taken back to the bed where they are given a very good massage considering the circumstances. I don’t think Nao was ever a professionally trained masseuse but it seems she has taken to the craft well.

After the massage session customers are turned over as a naked and willing Nao provides the finishing touches. She is a real expert with her hands and can provide some of the best hand release to be found anywhere. She is also sufficient in providing oral services though unlike most of the women at Tokyo Style she does use a condom for that.

After the main event Nao leads customers back to the bathroom to clean up before fixing the room up and bidding them a found farewell.

Nao seems to really enjoy her work and likes to get to know people. Even more than that she likes to know that customers are enjoying their time in Japan. She is quite knowledgeable and can recommend things to do and places to eat though none of those can compare with the time one spends with Nao. I give her four stars.

FKK Oase is a large and well known Roman-themed sex sauna located in Burgholzhausen which is just outside of the German city of Frankfurt. It bills itself as being “simply the best” and that is hard to argue with.

As noted in previous posts FKK is a common acronym used in German speaking countries that stands for freikörperkultur or “free body culture”. The original meaning and history of this is interesting enough for the purposes of the review underway here it suffices to say that Oase is full of naked women selling sex to customers in white robes.

FKK Oase is situated in a rural location just minutes from the city center. Every taxi driver knows the place though even if they didn’t either they or their customers could pull it up quickly on Google maps.

While plenty of people drive themselves to the club taking a taxi is also a very popular option. This is evidenced by the long line of taxis that waits outside of the club every evening and night waiting for customers to come outside and hail a ride back to town.

From the outside Oase looks like a modern rendition of a Roman bunker that would easily fit into the atmosphere of Reno, Nevada. It still doesn’t stick out in its grassy surroundings though since it is situated a little off of the road that leads to the building.

When customers enter they go through the usual procedure of stopping at the front desk to pay an admission fee and register. They are asked if they have visited before. Those who tell the hostess that it is their first time in the club will be given an informational brochure and a brief overview of the club. Those who have visited before will simply pay their 70 Euro entrance fee and receive a golden robe, a towel and a key to one of the many available lockers. Oase doesn’t charge an extra fee for the robe unlike the nearby FKK Mainhattan.

After receiving their locker key customers go through a small entrance on the left that leads to the main center of action. In front of them is a large long bar where drinks are supplied free of charge. Just to the right of that is a small bank of lockers where customers can store their money for use in paying service providers during their stay in the club. Further to the right is a flight of stairs that leads up to a hallway then down to a very large locker and wash room for the male customers to use.

Customers find the locker that matches their numbered key and wrist band. They undress and put their things inside while wrapping up in a towel, putting on a pair of clean slippers and heading to the wash area.

Customers are expected to shower upon entering the club and again between any sexual experiences they have. While this is not a rule that is enforced by anyone it is common etiquette and generally good practice. The shower room are large and clean and guys generally mind their business so it shouldn’t be an issue for anyone open enough to visit a German sex club.

After showering customers head back to their lockers to retrieve their provided cloth robe which serves as their only covering during their time in the club. They can then head back upstairs to where the action is.

Just past the aforementioned bar there are three very large rooms. The first is filled with round stand up bar tables. The next has a large stripper stage with poles in the middle and couches all around. The room furthest back is a “kino” or cinema where porn is displayed on a large movie screen in front of several rows of chairs.

There is also an outdoor pool area open when weather permits, a sauna, a garden, a dining area with buffets and other facilities like a male-only non smoking relaxation room. Free WiFi is also available throughout the club. The username and password are available at the front desk.

FKK Oase is filled with naked women from top to bottom. There are at least three or four dozen around at any given time though during busy hours it seems like there may be more than 125. I’ve never actually counted but this is the impression I get.

The women hail from all over the world with a few from Africa, South America and Asia appearing from time to time. The bulk are women from the European Union with Romania and Moldova being most represented. Women from countries like Poland, Hungary and Russia can also be found at times. The women range in age and looks though most are generally attractive, fit and in their early twenties.

Guys who sit in the bar or nearby rooms are often gently approached by women working in the club. They tend to bring up small talk before asking if there is interest in any more fun. Guys who politely decline are left with no issue and those who accept simply decide where to do the deed.

Sessions at Oase can take place in a number of places. Although public hardcore action used to be common most customers seem to head for a private room now. These are accessed through a hallway near the locker. Public sex and especially oral action is still possible and most women are up for it. While full on action goes on near the pool at times the kino is the regular spot for oral action and at times more. Since the kino is laid out a lot like a Japanese pink salon it is no surprise that Japanese customers can often be seen there receiving oral services.

Short sessions at Oase are regularly 50 Euro ($57 USD). This includes uncovered oral sex and covered full service with condoms provided by the club. Women can charge an extra 50 Euro for things like ejaculating in a mouth, finishing on a face or even just kissing. It depends on the service provider.

Although some can be mechanical at times the women generally put in full effort and don’t try to rip anyone off. It would be easy for a woman to gain a bad reputation and lose money. Most are genuinely skilled at what they do and really try to satisfy their customers. Some of the Romanian women are real pros who can give any provider in the world a run for their money.

The only downsides to Oase come from the customer side. It is not uncommon for large groups of guys to enter the club, get drunk and get loud. To some degree this is the sort of party atmosphere one would expect but at a certain point it becomes too much. Once a large fight broke out between two large groups of visitors. Although that sort of fight is not common it is something that unfortunately will be remembered. Usually people who are friendly receive the same treatment in return from the women and customers alike. Still I prefer the more customer oriented laid back and calm environments of the sex saunas in Macau.

Regulars and old timers often say that Oase isn’t what it once was. The same thing is heard about Thailand and a number of other locations. I can only report on Oase as it is today. As a large facility filled with beautiful nude women from around the world who are willing to have sex for less than a hundred green backs Oase delivers what a lot of guys are looking for in their entertainment. I give the place four-and-a-half-stars. If it wasn’t for the smokey and sometimes over raucous atmosphere I would give it a perfect score putting it with only three other reviews ever published on this site.

While Angeles City is probably one of the most well known sex industry hot spots in the world I have not covered the place in much detail here on Rockit Reports. Thus far reports on the city and its adult entertainment scene have been limited to news items and overviews. That will begin to change today with this review of Heaven Massage.

While I do not have any conclusive evidence it seems that Heaven Massage is a sort of thrown together agency. The company maintains no physical presence though it advertises on English and Korean websites. It also pushes itself to nearby users located in Angeles City through smart phone apps like Kakaotalk and WeChat.

Heaven Massage basically offers outcall massage to people staying in Angeles City. While there is suggestion in its ads the company doesn’t advertise full service massage. Instead it pushes things like oil, dry and “special” massages ranging in price from 300 to 500 Pesos ($6-11 USD). Recently the company started advertising nuru massage though it uses pictures of fully clothed women to do this.

Customers book sessions with Heaven Massage through the aforementioned apps or over the phone. They give their hotel name, room number and name and suggest a time. The company replies with a list of avail abilities.

After customers select a time, date and masseuse they need only wait. Unlike nearby Manila where running seriously late is a way of life people in Angeles City tend to show up for appointments within thirty minutes of the stated time. That is as true for Heaven as it is for anyone.

The women who work at Heaven tend to be in their twenties. They are for the most part generally attractive though quite a few have already given birth. Shyness is an aspect that quite a few seem to share. This is understandable though not necessarily what would be expected from women who have chosen such a line of work.

The pictures the company uses of the women it has on staff are pretty accurate. This makes sense since most appear to be selfies taken by the women themselves. Surely women would only send the pictures they think are the best but there isn’t much in the way of photoshopping applied. In fact the photo quality tends to be of the low sort that comes from an inexpensive phone camera.

Once staff members from Heaven show up for an appointment they introduce themselves and advise their clients to get comfortable on the bed. They then go on to perform perfunctory body rubs that reveal a clear lack of training. No matter how hard a woman tries a mechanical and unskilled massage can’t amount to much more than some pushing and pulling with no real result.

Limited adult services are offered by the women at Heaven when booked in advance. A sort of ball massage is offered with some packages that basically involves a light oiled handjob that lasts quite a while. This is supposedly tantric though it is unlikely that any of the women working at Heaven have learned how to jack guys off from gurus. The tantric label seems to be a way to get around any rules that might exist against happy ending massage and it also serves to indicate that orgasm isn’t the goal.

While the women do their handy work in a fashion that does not encourage ejaculation I do not think they would be incredibly upset if a customer did accidentally erupt. I have nothing to base this on but it is an educated guess. I could certainly be wrong.

While Heaven Massage does not advertise or offer any full service packages there are some hints that suggest that at least some of the women who work for the company may offer select customers action for generous tips when in the privacy of a room. If this is the case the company wants nothing to do with it. It is not even something they discuss.

Women who give regular or tantric massages for Heaven Massage expect tips on top of the fees charged for their services. To their credit they do not push for these or demand any particular amounts but they would most likely be very upset if they did not receive anything extra after putting in a session. Who can blame them?

Angeles City is loaded with adult entertainment venues including its famous go go bars. Heaven Massage is a small fish swimming in a sea of sharks. The outfit tries in its own way but it simply isn’t equipped. I give it a below average score of two stars.

The luxurious exterior hints at what’s inside.

252 Massage is a fishbowl style massage parlor in the heart of Phnom Penh. As the tattered white sign in the street indicates the places was formerly known as Yang Chou. It has been through at least one reincarnation over the years which is normally for a massage shop like this operating in Cambodia.

Although 252 Massage is situated right out in the open on a street that houses the 252 Hotel and other businesses it is possible that visitors would find it difficult to locate. The shop shares a building with the coincidentally named Boom Disco Club which is far more visible.

Customers to 252 enter through a door to the right of the building that is covered by a red awning. They pass a small indoor pond before going up a flight of stairs. Next they pass through another door before making a left and walking down a worn out hallway. Finally they go through another door on the left marked “Massage” which brings them to the lobby.

Customers see a fishbowl setup but it first appears empty due to a strategically placed mirror that reflects images of empty red seats. Walking further into the shop reveals the other side of the mirror where several women sit and wait for customers.

252 appears to be run by people of Chinese ethnicity. A man seated behind the counter takes money from customers and runs a log of which rooms are open and occupied on a blackboard. An older female manager greats customers and helps them select service providers.

The women who work at 252 Massage wear different colored pins according to their ethnicity. Khmer women wear blue pins and Vietnamese women wear red pins. At any given time there are between one and two dozen women on staff. They range in age with most appearing to be in their twenties. Nearly all are attractive and fit. Most are friendly and warm though surely more than a few would be shy about working with foreigners especially since few if any can speak English.

Customers who select a woman for a massage pay a ten dollar fee to the house. They are then led by the woman they select to one of many rooms that are rather worse for wear. Although the rooms aren’t necessarily any worse than the quarters in some of the oily massage parlors in Bangkok they do have issues. Beds and the stands that hold them are broken. As many readers are probably aware of by now two major raids were carried out recently in Europe and North America that sent shock waves throughout the commercial sex trade.

The first raid took place at the well known and heavily advertised Artemis sex sauna in Berlin.

The raid took place not over the issue of sex specifically. Instead it was based on allegations of tax evasion and similar activities as this report from Metro describes:

Managers at the brothel are accused of evading £14million in social security payments since 2006.

Prosecutors allege that sex workers were forced to pretend they’re self-employed so their bosses did not have to pay social security contributions.

According to the BBC some 900 officers raided the club in order to make a grand total of six arrests.

If you take out the aspect of organized crime this sounds a lot like the case that famous corporate strip club chain Rick’s Cabaret faced in New York. As CNN tells it:

The federal judge’s order came on Friday, four years after the dancers filed their lawsuit alleging the company cheated them out of wages. The award covers unpaid wages from 2005-2012.

For the dancers, the ruling follows a court victory last year when the judge ruled that they were considered hourly employees who deserve to be paid minimum wage. Rick’s Cabaret argued that the dancers worked as independent contractors.

Since the Artemis raid occurred there have been allegations made in the media that Artemis has been involved in human trafficking. This is an issue that is often raised in discussions of prostitution though it has all sorts of meanings and connotations.

Clearly no one in their right mind would be for the forced enslavement of people in the sex or any other industry. This seems to be what most people think of when they hear the term yet it also one of the least common aspects of the above ground and legal sex industry.

The phrase human trafficking is sometimes used to describe the movement of people across borders in search of work. It is used more often when women move to different areas or countries to work in the sex industry than it is to describe people like migrant farmers who cross borders so that they can earn a little more money for their efforts. In most cases money is the motivating factor yet not much is made of that aspect of the modern economy.

The usage of human trafficking terminology is clearly loaded and a full discussion of it would require a lot more than what I am writing here. There are without a doubt people forced into the sex industry just as there are people forced into all sorts of other industries including the harvest of chocolate. This is a sad reality that definitely needs to be examined. That is not helped by the using the term to describe economic migrations of clear thinking adults.

I don’t know the ins and outs of Artemis or any other brothel in Germany. I am simply an outside observer with a bit of knowledge gained through years of research. It does seem to me that women at a place like Artemis would be least likely to deal with trafficking since they are free to chose their own customers and come and go as they please. It is possible that someone could fall under the control or sway or organized crime and be pressured under threat to enter the sex industry. For some reason though no one suggests that garbage collection be outlawed.

I don’t know what the results of the raid on Artemis will be. Perhaps nothing other than some tax payments will be required. On the other hand it could stretch well beyond the six arrests made and change the entire sex industry in Germany. The latter seems unlikely though the new proposed law “to protect prostitutes” in Germany has a real possibility to changes things throughout the country.

Around the same time Artemis was being hit in Germany a number of eleven Korean massage parlors were raided by Federal Agents in the city that never sleeps. The Daily Beast reported the same day the busts went down:

In a sweeping sting operation, U.S. immigration officials cracked down on a series of Korean massage parlors in Manhattan on Wednesday. U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) carried out arrests for prostitution and money laundering at eleven alleged brothels, according to an indictment obtained by the Daily Beast.

Coincidentally the raids occurred shortly after the New York Post ran an article titled “Inside the $1 billion business of erotic massage parlors.” Being a man of reason I prefer this piece published after the events took place.

Writer Dollar Bill has been mentioned on this site before. He probably has more information on the local industry in New York than anyone else who puts pen to paper (or finger to keys). Meanwhile the industry continues on as it always has and it will in all likelihood continue to do so well into the foreseeable future in Germany where it is legal as well as in South Korea and the United States where it is not.

Do you have better sex in your personal life or on the screen?

The Saigon Star Health Club is one of many hotel-based massage parlors operating in the capital city of Vietnam. As the name would suggest the club is situated inside of the well known Saigon Star Hotel located in District 3 of Ho Chi Minh City.

Customers enter the club which is advertised throughout the facilities by walking directly through the lobby and into the elevators located on the back wall. Inside the elevator they see a sign that tells them to head to the ninth floor. When the elevators open they are confronted with a small desk where attractive ladies arranges sessions.

While the front desk staff seems capable of speaking at least a little English they are probably more comfortable pointing to written down prices since that seems to be their preference when dealing with foreigners.

Three sets are available to customers at the Saigon Star Health Club. All allow for use of the facilities which involves sharing things like steam and locker rooms with numerous Asian businessmen and other customers. Customers can also ask to bypass use of the facilities and head straight to a private room where they can receive a massage from a good looking Vietnamese woman. Customers who know the staff numbers of their favorite women can request them. Others get whoever is next in line.

The private room massage session costs around the equivalent of $20 US dollars and is payable after the fact. Various currencies are accepted though the local dosh seems to be at least slightly preferred. Once a customer selects a set the front desk worker summons another worker who leads through the hallways into one of several small rooms.

The small rooms are equipped with coat hangers, tables and small massage tables. The ceilings are fitting with metal bars used when women walk on the backs of customers. There are also climate control devices and a door with a small window that passersby can look through if they want to put in some effort. Next to no one including the many attractive uniformed women walking back and forth through the halls seems interested in sneaking a peek though there may be exceptions.

After customers enter the room they are shown a small pair of silk shorts and a robe. They are expected to change into this gear before their masseuse arrives. It doesn’t take the masseuses to show up even on busy days as there is a large staff at the health club who appear to put in long hours in an attempt to make money.

As mentioned several times over the women on staff at the Saigon Star Health Club are all good looking. They tend to be women in their early twenties who have good figures, pretty faces and pale skin. They wear uniforms consisting of a tight white shirt and blue skirts with shorts built in to prevent hands or eyes from reaching their nether regions.

The women who work at the Saigon Star Club are mainly friendly though more than a few look as if they’d prefer to be in greener pastures. In the past some have ended up marrying well off business men from other countries. That may be a goal for some current employees too. Most probably just want to earn a living like everyone else though they surely must put up with some level of stress and more.

Some speak a little English but only a few are really fluent. All known enough English and hand communication to indicate to customers that they should lay face down on the massage table when their sessions begin.

The masseuses may be trained in massage but if so it rarely shows. Most simply slather baby oil onto customers and push it around. This does not create an uncomfortable feeling but it’s nothing like what the iron hands of professional back and body rubbers can do.

After putting in thirty to forty minutes of rubbing the masseuses typically instruct customers to flip over onto their backs. When things have gone as they should most of the women offer hand jobs to finish the sessions. Some will even put their hands up a customer’s shorts to help things along. Negotiations over tips sometimes come into play but customers who appear to be in the know are usually just given some oiled up hand service with the expectation that they know how much a normal tip for that kind of service should be.

Most women are happy with a tip of 400,000 to 500,000 VND ($18-23 USD) to give this sort of service though those who negotiate before performing may start with initial quotes as high as 700,000. The women who offer handies tend to be better at them then they are are regular massages and aren’t out to rip customers off. They offer a fair trade of oiled up hands for cash.

There was a time when oral service was almost as common as the hand finish but that seems to have all but passed. There may be one or two women on staff who would still offer to blow customers off in the right circumstances but it is not likely or a normal part of the proceedings. Besides violating core precepts of basic humanity anyone who pushed for such a thing when denied would almost certainly run into big problems.

Services may have changed due to crackdowns, policy adjustments or the firing of more willing women. I have no way to know the exact cause. It may all have something to do with a handful of strange looking male managers who wander around the facilities and peer into the windows of private rooms in the process. Even if the peeping managers are not the cause the women are definitely conscious of their presence.

In any event the vast majority of customers receive a rub down and hands on ending and leave happy. After that they are cleaned up with a hot towel while they spend the last few minutes of their sessions getting dressed and chatting with their masseuses. Before leaving their rooms they write down the tip they would like to give on a piece of paper provided that is provided to them for that purpose.

Once customers are dressed and ready to depart they head back to the front desk where they settle up their bill with the house and hand over whatever tip they indicated on the tip sheet. When bills are settled customers are free to head down the elevator and on to whatever their next destination may be.

The Saigon Star Health Club is a lot like many of the other massage centers located in mid-range hotels around town. Although it staffs attractive women it has slightly higher prices and lesser facilities of some of the competing establishments. I give it an average score of two-and-a-half stars.

Rockit Reports has been online since 2012. The site has maintained a regular publishing schedule throughout that time. Since the site launched not a week has gone by without the publication of at least one report, review or other post. Many times several posts were made per week.

In spite of that there still exists a long and ever growing list of places and people to write about here. One of the most difficult things of running this site is deciding what to publish and when. Still I do find time to review massage parlors in Pattaya when I think it is worth the time and effort involved. I have done it once before with a review of Blue Massage near the beach. Today I’ll review My House Massage on Soi Buakhao across the street from the Sawasdee Siam Hotel.

Two things make My House stand out from the many other massage parlors located on both sides of the same street. One is the bright pink polo shirt uniforms the women wear. The other is how fit and good looking most of the women wearing the aforementioned polo shirts are.

At any given time there are between three and five women on staff. Most are in their early twenties. There may be one or two who are older. Almost all of the women working at My House Massage look as good or better than the average go go dancer on nearby LK Metro.

The women who work at My House spend most of their time sitting out in front of the shop where they do their best to beckon customers in off the street. At least that’s what they do when not distracted by their phones though the mobile devices quickly disappear when a customer walks over and selects one of the available women for a rub down.

Massages go for fairly regular rates at My House with a one hour session costing 400 Baht ($11 USD). This is payable after the act as is the norm all across the country.

The My House shop itself is nothing special. It looks like most other Thai massage parlors up front with a glass exterior and rows of seats inside the first room. Upstairs things are a little different. The dimly lit private rooms are painted red and resemble what I imagine the inside of a Thai prison cell might look like. They are fitted with red massage tables and round showers placed strategically in the corner.

The showers supply a weak supply of cold water that is used by the masseuses to clean their clients before or after massages. While this is typical for places like My House it is still not something most visitors from developed countries would enjoy.

Massages given in the private rooms at My House seem to range from short and perfunctory to nonexistent. The women who work the place seem to be keyed in to the fact that most guys who are tempted to enter probably aren’t all that concerned about getting their shoulders worked.

In other words the massueses at My House Massage are quick to offer extras to clients who seem to be looking for them. Happy endings by hand and mouth are the most common services on the menu though the women seem to work mainly with inexperienced clients as they can start with price quotes as high as 1500 Baht ($42 USD) for a blow. This is more than twice as much as local blowjob bars charge for the same service. Full service may be available in select cases though the price would likely be even higher.

Most of the women seem likely to agree to lower and more normal rates for special services though the amount of haggling required would likely be a turn off to a lot of guys. I imagine that some men just give up and take whatever price is given while they’re oiled up and spread out on the bright red massage table. If not the women most likely wouldn’t ask for such relatively high amounts.

Special services themselves are not much better than the aforementioned massages. Quick and mechanical is the name of the game. The women are good looking but not necessarily good at what they do. The effort is clearly at a minimum in nearly all areas.

My House is a strange place. The women are a little over dressed and fitted out with things like makeup and short shorts for the average female tourist to wander in for a foot massage. At the same time it is not an explicit sex massage shop like the nearby Honey.

I don’t think that My House Massage is a rip off joint either. It’s more likely that the women working there are simply taking advantage of an opportunity to get a good amount of money out of horny guys who don’t have a problem with shelling out fifty bucks for a minute long oil massage and happy ending from an attractive lady. If the market can take it the place will remain. If not it will close its doors as so many similar places have in the past.

Taking it all into consideration I think the place deserves no more than a single star. many of the women who work the place are hot but there’s too much competition in Pattaya willing to outdo them often for much less money.

Rin is alright.
